Track your accomplishments

I get reflective around this time of the year 🧘🏻‍♀️

I tend to look back at the photos I took on my phone 📱 Or maybe my calendar over the course of the year 🗓 When I had Instagram, I loved finding out what my top 9 photos of the year were 📸

I also get super reflective about what I’ve accomplished, whether it be personal or professional.

I used to try to rack my brain on what I did over the year, only remembering the “big” wins and/or fails, but couldn’t recollect EVERYTHING. Sound like you?

If so, take this hack from me that I’ve been doing for the past 2 years.

🗓 Start with the month.
✍🏼 Every Friday, set aside 10 minutes to write down things you did that week.

Asked to start a new project? Asked to help someone/team? Asked to learn a new skill?
Offered to help someone? Started something new? Delivered something?
Reached out to someone? Had a coffee chat with them? Learned a fun fact?

⏱ Do this each month.

At the end of the year, you’ll see everything you did. You may see trends in what you worked on or was asked of you. The best part is seeing your progress. Asked to learn a new skill? Where does that skill land after X months? Did you decide to do self-care? How are you feeling? Reached out to people? How’s your network looking? Have you followed up?

I love seeing my list over the course of a year. I do this as a list on my phone and it’s great to scroll through it. If you don’t have something like this implemented yet, take this and start one today!

We're getting towards the end of November and into the last month of the year! What do you want to start doing?
