⚡️ Resiliency ⚡️

Here’s how to stand out from the rest.

No, I mean it. Especially in the job search process.

I have to give bad news and rejection 99% of the time as a recruiter because I can only hire 1 person per role.

But the ones that still stand out are the ones whom I have built relationships with and are the candidates who still have excitement and enthusiasm, even in the midst of rejection 🚫

We’ve stayed in touch. I’ve continued to see them grow. I’ve been able to help connect them to other opportunities, even outside of my company. I’ve seen them continue to get experience. They’ve taken my no and never gave up. They didn’t close the door on me, but instead, fostered the connection.

Rejection sucks, but when have you embraced it and showed your resiliency? Use it to your advantage!

💡 Reminder: resiliency isn’t toxic positivity! It’s accepting the reality but choosing to use it as a stepping stone to keep going.

I’ve seen those who speak/post negatively about their recruiters/hiring manager/hiring process out of frustration and have seen it hurt their future chances. I’m sharing this in hopes that it inspires a better way to cope with rejection.
