Your objective: See your career journey as a vertical progression game โฉ

Vertical progression in a game is typically measured by scale ๐Ÿ“ˆ

โซ Like how stat increases as you fight enemies and level up.
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ When firing one spell becomes another and Itโ€™s stronger.
๐Ÿ”‹ Getting items that increase your health or get you extra hit points.
๐Ÿ’ฅ Typically it takes what you have and strengthens its use.

This progression shows that youโ€™re getting stronger, better, and gaining more experience, which then enables you to move to the next stage.

In your career journey, the same happens. Each step, each try, progresses you forward. The more you write your resume. The more you interview. The more you network. The more projects you do. The more you learn. The more you apply skills. All of this keeps moving you forward. Stats increase, you level up, and you increase your stamina. You never really start from scratch, but you start from experience โšก๏ธ

However, be warned. The stronger you get, the harder some situations may be when presented to test your strength and abilities. This will test your motivation. How badly do you want to move forward? Because moving forward means getting that much closer to the end goal. End goals = the job, the promotion, the project, the sale, etc.

The journey may be long and tedious, but how will you level up? ๐ŸŽฎ

Pass through and take some extra pixie dust from your journey ๐Ÿช„โœจ Now go!

*Note, Iโ€™m no game developer so I hope my minimum knowledge of game progression makes sense in this context!*
