➕ Supplement it by going directly to career sites.

⭐️ Go beyond applying for jobs.
➕ Supplement it with networking and connecting with people.
➕ Learn about what people do in their field and/or field you’re interested in.

⭐️ Don’t go about it alone.
➕ Supplement networking and building a community by joining organizations or clubs in the related field or skill you’re interested in.

⭐️ Go beyond the skills you have now.
➕ Supplement them with learning new ones by self-teaching or working on your own projects.
➕ Supplement by taking on volunteer work to gain skills. I’ve used VolunteerMatch.

⭐️ Go beyond in your current job.
➕ Volunteer to take on projects to develop skills.

⭐️ Go beyond asking questions.
➕ Supplement it with your own research. You can find a lot of info by simply Googling.
➕ Follow content creators on LinkedIn who know the recruiting process.

⭐️ Go beyond messaging that you’re looking for a job.
➕ Supplement it with specifics. What kind of job, what you’re looking to do, titles, etc.
➕ Share work or contribute to conversations that align with what you’re looking for.
